Seedbowls date back to Anasazi times / small seeds are placed in the bowl through the tiny opening, where they are kept dry and safe from rodents. In the Spring planting season, the bowls were taken directly to the fields and seeds were planted by shaking them out of the seedbowl.
Avanyu is a water serpent and will always lead you to water!
