The "Zuni Warrior" or "Zuni Whipper" as he carries yucca whips for disciplining) is a warrior Kachina also known as "Sipikne" (a Zuni-inspired warrior Kachina in Hopi tradition) or Chakwaina (a renowned warrior spirit shared across Hopi, Zuni, and other Pueblo groups).

He appears in the dance with whips, rattles and cow bells. He has been adopted by the Hopi as he traveled from Zuni to Hopi and other pueblos in much earlier times!
